Ms Tara Lane lives in Cheshire and works in the NHS at Arrowe Park Hospital. She was trained across the regional hospitals including Chester, Warrington, and the Royal Liverpool Hospital. At the completion of her training, she undertook a fellowship at the Royal Sunderland Eye Infirmary focusing on cornea and cataract surgery. She used this experience to develop and create the cataract and cornea services at Arrowe Park respectively.

Ms Tara Lane is the cataract surgery lead at Arrowe Park Hospital. She provides clinical leadership, ensuring best practice and patient safety, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and driving service improvement.
Ms Lane developed the cornea and anterior segment service at Arrowe Park Hospital from the ground up. She designed the function of the service including staff roles, equipment provision and infrastructure.
